    How long was your last hike?

    last hike My last hike was two weeks ago, myself, my son, my brother and his grandson climbed Twilight Peak in the San Juans in Colorado. Six miles in, camp at treeline, summit the mnt, camp and then hike six mile back out. Great weather even if there was still snow in July.

    age doesnt matter I'm 50 and my brother is 58. Last year we took a guy who was 69 and every year we see people well in to thier 70"s and 80's. Age is a mental state of mind.

    Clear Creek is absolutely amazing. The trail was pretty hot and rough, but well worth the nine miles. Not for the amature or unfit. Pics coming......... Next year... Thunder River.

    When camping during the summer in the Grand Canyon all I do is set a clear plastic bottle of water in the sun on top of something dark and within a few hours the water is hot enough to heat a dehydrated meal to temp. But then it is usually 110 degrees outside from june to august.
