I agree with you.

The concept of nude beaches are well-known, although they're not popular here in the US, so it doesn't surprise me that there's a such thing as nude hiking, and that everyone here would scoff at it.

Excuse me!! Idaho at 8000 feet is not an equatorial beach. Anyone wandering around naked here is a durn fool. Has nothing to do with concepts, more's or puritanical principles. It is pure survival.

That's what happens, Grandpa, when humans live their lives in tropical climates. They forget that nature is big and humans are small.

Plus, nude people don't have any pockets to carry stuff, so they're always bumming trail mix off their clothed companions...
