Weird Sightings while Camping

I was fishing for grayling with .44 mags in the headwaters of the Chena River. I was wearing my OD army field jacket, in quite good condition. I had gotten warm so I buried my jacket, leaving the sleeve visable so I could find it later. When I went back there was nothing but a hole where my jacket was.

I suspect someone stole it and wore it for years.

I was walking a trail once and came around a bend in the trail only to find a large white cow standing on the trail.

How long ago was it? I think that may have been my little brother's first wife. She never had much of a sense of direction.
