My 8 year old son went on a class field trip yesterday to a local farm. According to his teacher he was the only one in the class that would hold the largemouth bass they had to show. AND he knew how to hold it properly! None of the other kids knew how to put your thumb in the mouth. :tinysmile_tongue_t:

Congratulations! You must be very proud of him, and I would if I were you. When did he start learning to fish and deal with bass? Of course he learned if from you, right?

That is definitely something to be proud of. My nephew is eight and has just started learning the basics of fishing. Of course, if he lived closer I would have had down to the river a lot sooner.
