    Meat grinder

I remember that my grandmother used to own a manual meat grinder when I was a toddler. We have an electric one now, but it is seldom used, so I think it was a wasted investment. We don't need that much ground meat.

    Salt Water Pool

We went to a holiday resort last year that had a salt water pool. It was an alternative to swimming in the sea, and it was better without the waves and with the even depth. I liked it a lot, since I am not a very good swimmer.

    What to do about thunderstorms?

Better stay inside the tent if there is no imminent danger of a falling branch. It might be more dangerous to move from the tent to the car.

    Night Hunting

First time I heard about night hunting! It would be harder to see your prey at night. They would sense your presence first and that could be dangerous.

    Alligators

Just the mention of alligators make my hair stand. I think if I encounter one in real life, I'd faint outright and won't know if it eats me alive.

    Off roading

Living in the city for most of my life, I've never been in any of those off-road adventures. Seems like good fun though I think you get a bumpy ride.

I have made hikes without gear when I was younger, but only on short trails and near our home. Not without water or a head cover now.
