    Carpet?

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. What a pain in the ass when it gets wet.

    A good hat

I hike with a bandana. Light weight keeps most of the sweat out of my face and is not that hot.

    Most memorable place?

I have two from the same place, both are back country in Glacier national park. The first is Camas Lake. Though I don't bleive the trail has been open for ten years due to animal traffic. It is pretty suriel to see cougar tracks in your camp that weren't there the night before. The...

    Fifth Wheel Trailers

I personally like camping in RVs and Motor homes too. I now have kids and they are very prone to getting into some nasting stuff if we are in a tent. The best part about the new RV and fifth wheels is how inexpensive they are now vs three years ago. Grizzly Welcome to Wana Camp

Do you wait for good weather?

I personally enjoy hiking in rainy weathe. There tends to be a lot less people out and it gives you a different perspective of nature. My best hunting is in terrible weather. Have you ever tried to hunt ducks when it is sunny and there are no clouds in the sky Versus a low cloud ceiling...

    Roadkill?

I can't say I have purposefully done this. I accidently picked up someone else previously shot pheasant once, while looking for mine. When I took it home to clean it, I found it to be full of magots. Lets say that one didn't make it into the freezer.

    Glacier National Park

This is my favorite National Park. I have been there 10 plus times, back county packed three different trips and summited two of the mountains. The resorts are incredible, be sure to check out the fire places. My favorite is the one at mini glaicer. If you car camp or tent camp it is cheap...

    Horrible attire

I would be very candid with the person and explain to them what proper attire is. I personally had a friend that I had to do this with. In his case fadded wranglers were not acceptable when he got promoted to be a manager of an engineering group.

    Music At Your Site?

Yes I do. But I do not play music after 9pm if I'm in a ccampground. I once got in an arguement with a hippy for playing my music in Yellow Stone national park while I was making dinner. Appartently she didn't like Johnny Cash. She claimed I was ruining the nature. Whatever that meant.

Go to REI or Amazon and purchase an MSR whisper lite. They fit into standard cooking pots for back packing. Or you can buy the equipment cheap on ebay. There is little to break on these things.

Why Doesn't anyone update their profile on this site

Creepy question. I have never seen a person so interested in my whereabouts before. If you think I'm a posser, than ingnore my responses. Either I know what I'm talking about or I'm very knowledagble about what I have never done. In either case I hope people get value out of the...

    Training dogs

I have a Vizsla which I trained for Pheasant hunting. The first step is determining if the dog has a propensity to hunt the animals you are looking for. I have seen many "hunting dogs" that don't know what they are out there to hunt. It is no use if you rabbit hunting and the dog is only...

    REI Backpacks - Good?

I have used several REI backpacks in the past. Their equipment is really good and the life time warrenty is often worth it allown. Before you buy the REI gear always go to the REI outlet found on their standard website. From there you typically can find high end brand name gear cheaper...
